• Your email address and name (for account creation and login)
• Financial data you enter: income, expenses, debts, budgets, assets, and investment portfolios
• Photos of financial documents you choose to capture (receipts, paychecks, statements)
• Voice recordings when you use voice features (processed in real-time, not stored)
• Conversations with Cash AI™ (to provide personalized financial guidance)
• Anonymous usage analytics (app opens, page views) with no personally identifiable information

We do not collect, access, or store:

• Bank account credentials or financial login information
• Social Security numbers or government-issued identification
• Location data, contacts, or browsing history
• Any data from third-party financial institutions or services

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used to:

• Display your personalized budget and financial overview
• Track income, expenses, and cash flow
• Calculate debt payoff plans and strategies
• Power Cash AI™ — our AI financial coach that provides personalized guidance, document explanations, and scenario modeling based on your financial data
• Analyze investment portfolios and provide market insights
• Detect emotional biases in investment decisions and provide coaching
• Send you proactive financial nudges and reminders
• Extract text from financial document photos
• Sync your data across devices when signed in

4. Third-Party Services

Cash Balancer uses the following third-party services to provide its features:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and secure data storage
• AI Services — Document extraction, financial coaching, and scenario analysis (your data is sent securely to generate responses and is not used to train AI models)
• Market Data Providers — Real-time stock prices and analyst data for portfolio analysis
• Meta SDK — Ad attribution and anonymous app event tracking (you can opt out via the App Tracking Transparency prompt)

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information with any third parties for marketing purposes. Data sent to third-party services is used solely to provide app features and is protected by industry-standard encryption.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. Face ID authentication is available for additional device-level security. We regularly review our security practices to ensure your information remains protected.

6. Children's Privacy

Cash Balancer is designed for users ages 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 16 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will assist you in deleting that information.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App's Settings. Upon account deletion, all of your financial data, conversations, and personal information will be permanently removed. You can also contact us at support@cashbalancer.com to request data deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access all of your data (it is always available within the App)
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Opt out of ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
• Use the App as a guest without creating an account (limited features)
• Contact us to request a copy of your data or ask questions about how it is used

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App and on our website at cashbalancer.com/privacy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
